TIIP to launch new cohort as part of the “Making Missing Markets” Initiative of Federal Reserve Bank of New York
TIIP is proud to partner with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on the Making Missing Markets (“MMM”) initiative, which is helping to increase the flow of capital from Wall Street and Main Street and drive systems change
TIIP’s new global strategy of targeting specific regions to drive investor adoption and industry transformation kicks off in the US in tandem with the initiative. For Making Missing Markets, TIIP will lead the System-level Investing Design Team, leveraging TIIP’s existing interrelated workstreams that seek to build industry awareness and accelerate the adoption of systems thinking in investment policies, programs, and practices across the full range of investor types.
By charting pathways for investors, facilitating collaboration, and enhancing accountability, TIIP aims to unlock system-level investing’s full potential to drive systemic change, address real-world challenges, and build more resilient, inclusive economies.
- The System-level Investing Design Team will be anchored by a 9-month learning journey that will leverage TIIP’s past thought leadership and enterprise management platform. The Design Team aims to develop new tools, case studies, and breakthroughs in dialogue with leaders from TIIP’s network and our growing community of practice working to address systemic environmental and social issues.
- Initial Design Team partners include: UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), For The Long Term (FTLT), Manley Consulting Group, and the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), with additional partners to be announced.

4th Annual Symposium on System-level Investing Tuesday, April 8, 2025
TIIP’s 10-year anniversary celebration and 4th Annual Symposium on System-level Investing will be held on April 8, 2025.
As systemic risks become increasingly complex and interconnected, the demand for a unified, forward-thinking investment response has reached a critical juncture. The 2025 Symposium on System-Level Investing, co-hosted by TIIP, the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), and the U.S. Impact Investing Alliance, serves as the premier platform for asset owners, managers, trustees, and institutional leaders to exchange actionable strategies for embedding system-level investing principles into practice.
Continuing its tradition of supporting investors’ implementation of system-level investing, TIIP will unveil new resources and launch version 2.0 of the SAIL enterprise management platform—an advanced tool offering step-by-step guidance for investors at all stages, from building system-level beliefs to implementing robust investment practices. In-person attendees will also receive an exclusive sneak preview of a series of total portfolio reviews for system-level investing that TIIP has underway.
