William Burckart, TIIP’s president and COO will participate in an informative and interactive session at the 2020 NTSA Summit that aims to help attendees better understand the basics of ESG (environment, social, governance) investing and the related investment solutions. He will discuss why sustainable investment is on the rise, its financial impact, how ESG integration can align with fiduciary responsibility, and what financial advisors have been doing to incorporate ESG as part of their customer experience.
He will be joined by other experts — Robert W. Dannhauser, CFA, Head of Global Private Wealth Management, CFA Institute and Guillaume Mascotto, American Century — who will provide insights from their personal experience adopting ESG into investment practices. The session will close with a Q&A portion that will include practical tips on how attendees can address ESG with their current clients, and how they may be able to use it to attract new ones.
